Igniting passion for technology

Inspired by the success of a Girl Scout Gold Award project, KickStart Tech was created in 2018. We encourage children of all financial capabilities to pursue careers in Computer Science and Technology. Kickstart Tech Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation that delivers free educational sessions and resources to elementary and middle school students.

About the Founder

Sarah Luthra is a class of 2020 student at Thomas Jefferson School for Science and Technology. As an avid learner, Sarah has taken specialized computer science courses such as Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision and has completed numerous projects involving Machine Learning.  Sarah is experienced in several computing languages such as Java, Python, C++, HTML/CSS, and R. In her free time, Sarah enjoys singing and playing golf.

How to start?

High school Students:

Contact us to find out how you can help young minds explore their interests and find their potential.

Elementary & Middle Schools:

Please contact us to schedule a free computer science workshop at your school for your students. Each workshop is typically from 1-2 hours (depending on the age of the students) in duration and include education materials, hands-on activities with the instructor, and a sing-along group activity and light snacks towards the end of the session.
